Pretty good. Submit a short form to request key -> got key in email -> one click to active. That's it.

The information is limited to the US, but can be used anywhere with an internet connection. The server was restarted and should be available now.

I've had problems trying to get my key to work properly. After several keys and no success, I started tweeting and I was able to make contact with @govgrrl. Issue was resolved within a day or so.
